  		Our old panels contained the switchits which had to be relocated under the baseboards, we took the opportunity to replace several individual switchits with a switch8 - supplied by the excellent Bromsgrove Models

  • Step 1 - Get some switch8s !

  • Step 2 - Read the instructions - YES REALLY !!

  • Step 3 - Fit to layout


  • Step 4 - Remove control panels, trace each wire, recovering when transferred to Switch8.

     

     

  • Step 5 - Test and program required addresses into Switch8 - job done - off to the pub !!

The additional panel was replaced at the same time and the switchits relocated under the boards.  The switchits were finally attached to the foam core (in the background of the final image) with sticky pads.

The reasons for the changes ... the new layout templates, produced by the Templot program, with some copper clad sleepers laid out - these are for the non-scenic section only.
