An old decoder was chosen to drive the light, this was a lighthouse LED with a resistor to drop the current, using the standard common and function 0 wires off the chip, some fibre optic was attached to carry the light to the lamp.
Cut a hole for the wires ! Fit pickups to wagons wheels Fit parts into hopper Thread fibre through slot, drill out lamp and fit.
