Widnes Vine Yard Signals - Limit of Shunt

On Wednesday 30 November 2005 Dave Skipsey installed the Mike Turner built Limit of Shunt (LOS) for Widnes Vine Yard - a hole was drilled and then an under board base plate mounted - visible in the first 2 shots and visible in the hole in the next 3 and then finally the signal was mounted and ballasted back. Once the glue has dried and the weathering has been re-applied the job will be a good-un !

A limit of shunt in the modern form is a ground signal with no white lights - a double red.

Note the write running off the back of the signal and the detail on the back of the hood.
