Widnes Vine Yard Signals

On Saturday 26 November 2005 Mike Turner and Dave Skipsey set about the daunting task of installing the Tony Sissons built gantry for Widnes Vine Yard - comprising signals VD101 and VD103 - the existing ballast was chopped back, a plastic base installed and finally the bracket was mounted - checking for squareness as we went.

Only after these photos were taken was the fluff noticed !!

Safe !	The site is prepared	Site ready for packing	Check it will stand square
Packing installed, holes for wires and pegs	Jigged ready for glue	Jigged ready for glue	Glued ! - now to the wiring, old signals visible
Loose the sponge please	Ta !!!	Looking very good	Only wiring and software control to go ....
