| Overview | Target boards are basically of two main design styles. Those that are fitted to the front of the main casing and the earlier style which were fitted to the rear of the main casing. The 3 aspect head we will work through is the later design with the target board fitted to the front of the main casing. There are some differences such as the upper corners cut off at close to 45 degrees. Some signals do not have cut away corners and some have one corner cut off and the other untouched. As always, ensure you have photos of your prototype that you are modelling. When cutting the target board from your 5 thou brass sheet cut the width slightly larger than shown on the drawing, go for 0.015" (.38mm). The reason for this will be explained in a later step.
